 蛇毒来源尖吻蝮蛇(五步蛇)（Deinagkistrodon acutus）。具有精氨酸酯酶活性，能快速水解BAEE。属于丝氨酸蛋白酶，能特异性水解纤维蛋白原，水解纤维蛋白原Aα链的Arg-X肽健，使纤维蛋白原释放出A肽，转变为纤维蛋白，各纤维蛋白首尾聚合。在体内，降纤酶不激活凝血因子XIII，因此首尾聚合的纤维蛋白多聚体不会和侧向交联，形成可溶性微凝块，可溶性微凝块极易被纤溶酶降解。血栓疾病防治的研究
